Time for a switch? Break out the trap bar man. Where are you missing your lift? Throw some chains or bands onto ur deads, mix up your stance, you said that you are much weaker from a sumo stance maybe it's time to get your hips(and glutes) stronger, or maybe try just the opposite and move your feet in a lot tighter?
