Max effort Bench Press (3rd week)

It was hard to touch with 345, 365 and 385. After that the weights moved easy. My butt came off the bench a lot during the 425 but when I'm still 10 weeks out from the Hudson Natural Open I'm happy with this..

DB Shoulder press 3x8
Bar 21s x3

Bar shrugs 3x16
Close grip 3 board press 3x3
worked up to 325 (new PR)

DB Curl to press 2x10
Tri push down 2x16

Chest Iso Hold 1x 120seconds....

Pumped about my new bench max, the weight felt good, my elbows kinda hurt now but my wrists are good.. here is the video of my 425 PR...

  1. Good shit Tombone. Have you tried locking in the shirt with a belt? It makes a huge difference, it keeps the shirt from sliding up your chest as you lower the bar.

    Also, I decided to do my meet as a 242 which should get interesting. Additionally I think I left those red briefs in the weightroom? If they're still up there can you send them to me?
