Deadlift

225x4
315x2
405x2
495x1
500x1
515x1 Tried using my squat suit but couldn't get in the right pos.
515x1
550x1
565x1 Miss
565x1

Below is my video of my squats. Kind of disappointing with only 565 but it is what it is. Right now with my weights I moved this week I would total 1654 which is a respectable total....I want more though!

  1. T-Bone, good pulling! I think you should still try to open your toes out a little more which will open up your legs a tad bit more and let you start in a more upright position. Check out some of Brian Schawb's deadlift videos on you tube, he's an elite guy and the WR holder at 148 I think. Look at how upright he starts.

  2. Nice work man! Yeah, a 565 DL is so horrible---hahah! Esp since it is well over 100 lbs more than my DL PR! It is all relative and nice work.

Have someone do a standing hamstring muscle test on your with your neck neutral.

If strong, repeat the test and move your head up as it was near the end of the DL.

I am interested to see if your heck position is causing an arthrokinetic reflex "shutting down" your hamstrings a bit, esp near lock out.

I may be around the U of MN this friday if you are around.

Keep up the killer work man!!!
    Rock on
